Lucien Joveneaux
Lucien Joveneaux French painter born in Lille in 1927 and died in 1996 in Saint-Sébastien sur Loire (Loire Atlantique). Son of a railway worker, he learned the profession of painter and decorator at the age of fifteen. A worker painter, he taught painting and drawing at the North apprenticeship center and then specialized in industrial painting. The French state railway, Société nationale des chemins de fer français (SNCF), noticed his talent and commissioned several posters from him, including that of the TGV Atlantique. He settled in Bretagne (Brittany) from 1982.
