"Witt" and Invitation Comics
The person "Witt" is not mentioned in the literature and we do not know whether "Witt" is a pseudonym or not. There is also no information about the publisher "Invitation Comics". We do know that "Witt" was an artist, living in the USA and that he contributed to many postcards with comic content between 1900 and 1920. The postcards mainly contained comic situations with automobiles and how the surroundings reacted to this new modern vehicle in funny situations. Many of these postcards were published by Invitation Comics and postmarks show that they were sold all over the USA.
