Děčín hlavní nádraží

Děčín hlavní nádraží (
Děčín Central Station) is a railway station in the Podmokly district of Děčín. The station has four platforms accessible from the underpass via ordinary stairs or by elevator. It is an important border station, for long-distance trains from Germany, which have their first stop here in the Czech Republic. In 1850, the Northern State Railways company of Austria built a border crossing station between Austria and Saxony at the place of the present station. A temporary half-timbered building was first built. In 1864–1865, a neo-Renaissance station building was built by the Northern State Railways company and the Royal Saxon State Railways. The station building is a brick, two-story, basement-based building with risals in the middle and on the sides with attached pavilions.  The station building was declared a cultural monument of the Czech Republic in 1998.
