Jernbanecafeen
Jernbanecafeen (The Railway Café), located at Reventlowsgade 16 in Copenhagen, has been part of the city's pub scene since 1933. The café is located just across from Copenhagen's central railway station. It is characterized by the fact that a model railway train runs around the ceiling throughout the café. In 2002, Jernbanecafeen underwent an expansion that improved the facilities and created more space for guests. In 2008, the café celebrated its 75th anniversary, which was marked with a festive event in which three generations of the owner family participated. In 2023, Jernbanecafeen celebrated its 90th anniversary, with the current owner, Xenia, representing the fourth generation of the family. Today, Jernbanecafeen is a popular meeting place for both locals and tourists looking for an authentic Copenhagen experience in the heart of Vesterbro District.
