Peter Behr
Peter Behr 1932-2015) born in Hamburg, was a forensic expert for handwriting analysis at the Hamburg Criminal Investigation Department. Since 1970 he has also worked part-time as a painter and graphic artist and has regularly exhibited at home and abroad (including Düsseldorf, Berlin, Morges (Switzerland) and Zagreb). He completed his numerous private studies with Albert Feser in Hamburg and Imre Rekassy in Budapest and others. Peter Behr, who lived in the Nordheide South-West of Hamburg, also became known for his illustrations to books. He is permanently represented in the Deichstrasse Gallery, Hamburg.
