Le Temple du Solei (Prisoners of the Sun)
Le Temple du Soleil (Prisoners of the Sun), 1949, is the fourteenth volume of The Adventures of Tintin, the comics series by Belgian cartoonist Hergé. Young reporter Tintin, his dog Snowy, and friend Captain Haddock are in Callao, Peru. Here he and Haddock alert the authorities about some criminals; but the abductors evade the police and escape to the Andes mountains. Tintin and Haddock pursue them to the mountain town of Jauga, where they board a train that is sabotaged in an attempt to kill them. The picture on the postcard shows the moment when Tintin jumps off the runaway train in the mountains and saves his life.
